Executive Assistant

Pixel Sprout Studios is looking to add an Executive Assistant to our administration team to assist the studio director in all aspects of business operations. We would like to add a member to our team who has excellent communication and writing skills, as well as working knowledge of Google Sheets.

The ideal candidate for this position is an individual who is coachable, excited to learn, relentlessly supportive and enjoys predicting and mitigating the needs of others. This position will require an individual who has a flexible schedule, frequently able to work on the weekends, or whenever the director requires your assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently gather and hold the context of studio operations for studio executives and prepare any needed materials ahead of time, and on the fly

  • Participate and facilitate Human Resources processes (hiring, onboarding, offboarding, etc.)

  • Schedule and attend meetings; proactively record minutes, as well as manage, store, and distill all action items effectively

  • Manage the status and order of competing priorities across a large number of tasks for yourself and others

  • Maintain familiarity with all Pixel Sprout Studio’s games, worlds, and designs

  • Assist in the creation of games by coordinating the production of art, music, and engineering, or by distributing context to independent contributors

  • Assist in the creation of documents, spreadsheets, tools, and presentations for studio executives

  • Anticipate the needs of the studio
     

Required Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Google Drive, Google Docs

  • Excellent knowledge of Google Sheets

  • Exceptional spoken and written communications skills

  • Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback

  • Ability to self-start on tasks with minimal prompting

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Exceptional attention to detail
     

Desired Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years in an Administrative role or Executive Assistant role

  • Experience with copywriting

 

Pluses:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 

  • Knowledge of in-genre games, both released and unreleased

  • Working knowledge of production tools such as Trello, Monday, JIRA, Miro, Slack, etc.

  • Ability to run and use Unity
