Level Designer
Pixel Sprout Studios is looking to add a Level Designer to our Engineering team to create and design levels and maps for Sun Haven and future titles. We would like to add a member to our team who has excellent design sense, as well as the ability to iterate on feedback.
The ideal candidate for this position is an individual who has great simulated player thinking, architectural knowledge, and is well familiarized with running A/B tests to optimize the player experience. This position will require an individual who can design and work with limited space and assets to complete unique and high quality levels and maps.

Responsibilities:

Develop map and level layouts in Unity

Import, Design, Polish, and Complete maps and levels in Unity

Create A/B tests in order to iterate on maps and levels for a better player experience

Create maps and levels that are visually appealing and improve the player experience

Collaborate with multiple teams including Artists, Animators, Writers, Software Engineers, Sound Designers, and Producers to create complete gameplay experiences for maps and levels

Import, organize, and manage assets in Unity for efficient use

Maintain familiarity with Sun Haven's world and design
Required Qualifications:

2 years+ of experience working in Level Design

2 years+ of experience using Unity for Level Design

Excellent creative problem solving

Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent spoken and written communications skills

Desired Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to produce consistent updates

Experience reading and writing code in C#

Experience with Agile development processes

Experience optimizing maps for more efficient load time

Windows, Mac, and Nintendo Switch development experience
Pluses

B.S. (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or equivalent
