Sun Haven Patch 1.5: Teleportation

Hi everyone, it’s Tavielle!


We hope you’ve been enjoying all of the 1.4 content over the last month! It’s been awesome seeing all of your newly decorated farms, adorable children, and your love for the Brinestone Deeps. We have a surprise for everyone today, and we can’t wait to share it!


Sun Haven Patch 1.5: Teleportation is here, and it’s got new features to address community feedback, fixes for some pesky bugs, buffs for early game tools, and rebalanced items and EXP gains throughout Sun Haven.


Let’s jump right into the update!

Sun Haven Patch 1.5:



Teleportation Spell:


Added a Teleportation spell that takes you to Sun Haven, Nel’Vari, Withergate, and the Brinestone Deeps.

Teleportation locations are unlocked through the main story questlines

If you have already completed the quests listed below, the spell and locations will become available automatically


Sun Haven:


Unlocked by completing the quest Talk to Elios


Nel’Vari:


Unlocked by completing the quest The Griffon


Withergate:


Unlocked by completing the quest Crawling Through the Sewers


Brinestone Deeps:


Unlocked by completing the quest Action!

Teleporting to the Brinestone Deeps will become unavailable during the quest Jammed! and is unlocked once more upon completing further Brinestone Deeps story quests


Main Menu Update:


New animated main menu background

New main menu UI

New main menu layout

New patch notes section

The patch notes for the past four updates will be accessible

New main menu DLC store


New DLC Store


All DLCs will remain as optional, extra cosmetics, and never any locked story content!

All DLCs are available to purchase directly within the Sun Haven main menu

Known Issues


Filters in the DLC store are not translated to other languages

The Pixel Sprout Studios logo is visually offset a bit on Steam Deck and Mac

On any resolution other than 16:9, the exit button in the main menu overlaps other options


Adjusted Romanceable Character Portraits:


Adjusted some romanceable character portraits with more modest versions

Coming soon: All romanceable characters will be receiving new portraits!


Translations:


Updated multiple texts in-game that were not translating properly

The Brinestone Deeps Bulletin Board is now translated properly

Chest buttons: Transfer Similar, Withdraw Similar, Transfer All, Withdraw All

Monster names

Animal names

Restored General Store sale tables

Restored Sun Haven Cafe

NPC names in cutscenes

Gifting dialogue

Some in-game notifications

Balance:


Rebalanced EXP gained by harvesting crops

Rebalanced EXP gained by collecting foragables

Buffed Arturo and the Glorite Miners

Buffed several seasonal monsters

Adjusted the sell prices of several forageable items

Nerfed permanent mana given by some consumable items

Lucia now gifts you 3 berries in the mail instead of 5

Roza now gifts you 3 iron bars in the mail instead of 1

Lynn no longer gifts you adamant bars in the mail

Vaan now gifts you 25 Earth Fertilizer II instead of 5 Earth Fertilizer I

Wornhardt now gifts you 3 Honey Glazed Apples instead of 1

Increased the speed of most tools

The Copper Watering Can charges have been increased from 18 to 20

Adjusted the quest rewards of some main storyline quests

Adjusted the drop rate of dandelions from Weedil’s weeds

Adjusted the rewards for winning against Weedil

Adjusted the sell prices of Withergate fish


Quality of Life Changes:


Doubloon bags no longer need to be clicked

Mana Tomes now stack up to 99

Money Bags now stack up to 99

While on the End of Day screen, controllers can now hover over individual items that were sold with the left joystick

The Brinestone Deeps main story quests will now appear under the Sun Haven, Nel’Vari, and Withergate main story quests in your quest log


Bug Fixes:


Adjusted the placements of destructible items so NPCs no longer clip into them

Adjusted many NPC walk paths to fix issues with characters stacking, clipping, and facing unintended ways

Fixed an issue in some languages where text such as ‘color’ was not translating or highlighting more text than intended

You can no longer walk through the wall on the Sun Haven Bridge and become trapped in the water

Fixed an issue causing fish to become stuck and unable to get to your bobber in the river next to Liam’s wheat field

Fixed an issue where naming a chest to "Gems" would display the name "Hall of Gems"

Fixed an issue with spacing on item descriptions that was causing text to overlap

Fixed a problem where the player could fall through the floor in the northern wilderness

We are excited to announce that 5 new DLC packs will be available in the new in-game store with Patch 1.5! All DLCs will be extra, optional, cosmetic content only, and will never contain exclusive story content.


The Tea Temple Pack includes 43 furniture items, 11 clothing items, 4 wigs, 1 mount, and 2 pets. If you have dreams of living on a Japan-themed farm, then this is the pack for you! The Tea Table Pack has 63 Japan-inspired outfits and furniture items available for you to customize your characters and decorate your homes, sheds, and farms.


The Emerald Elegance Pack includes 11 furniture items, 17 clothing items, 4 wigs, 1 mount, and 2 pets. If green is your favorite color, then this is the pack for you! The Emerald Elegance Pack has 35 regal emerald outfits and furniture items available for you to customize your characters and decorate your homes, sheds, and farms.


The Flames and Ashes Pack includes 14 furniture items, 9 clothing items, 1 mount, and 2 pets. Calling all Fire Elementals! The Flames and Ashes Pack has 26 fire-themed outfits and furniture items available for you to customize your characters and decorate your homes, sheds, and farms.


The Squeaky Clean Pack includes 11 furniture items, 6 clothing items, 1 wig, 1 mount, and 3 pets. Grab your soap and water, because it’s time to take a bath! The Squeaky Clean Pack has 22 bathroom-themed items available for you to customize your characters and decorate your homes, sheds, and farms.


This Snow Yeti Pack includes 14 furniture items, 4 clothing items, 2 wigs, and 2 mounts. The Snow Yeti Pack has an icy collection of 22 snow-themed items available for you to customize your characters and decorate your homes, sheds, and farms.
